Sorry to be grumbling one more time about the merging of threads- a problem that drives me to distraction, but no else seems to care about
![]() This morning it's the Argentinian music threads: we have 3: https://www.musicbanter.com/country-...argentina.html Argentina https://www.musicbanter.com/country-...argentina.html How good is the music of Argentina ? https://www.musicbanter.com/country-...argentina.html Popular musicians from Argentina All three threads are a mix of modern and traditional, so they can't be seperated on that basis. Which is rather my point: is there any basis for having seperate threads? __________________________________________________ ________________ We also have two threads on Fionn Regan, although in this case, it's super easy to distinguish between them: one thread is titled "Fionn Regan" while the other one is titled "Fionn Regan". https://www.musicbanter.com/country-...onn-regan.html https://www.musicbanter.com/country-...onn-regan.html __________________________________________________ _________________ Am I really the only person on MB who thinks like this: "I'd like to post something about Krautrock/ Argentinian music/ Fionn Regan. Where shall I put my post? These MB threads are really confusing - the easiest thing to do is not bother."

Sure I care about a tidy forum but I think that wouldn't deter me from posting. I'd just post in the most recent thread and ask the mods to maybe merge the different threads. I don't think they will go scouring the forum for those kinds of things by themselves. It needs to be highlighted and then it's easy as pie to fix...

Consolidated the requested threads
![]() RE: krautrock I missed that convo. Merging them is fine but a sticky feels unnecessary. If it's popular enough it should stay afloat on the relatively quiet prog and psych subforum.

Brilliant! Thank you so much, Frownland!
![]() @ Trollheart: Yeah, I noticed that but as Frownland is now my god, I'm prepared to overlook it.

I'm not sure if themes/skins are already a feature and I just overlooked it like a goof, but I think themes/skins would be a good addition to the forum. I've always had a weak spot in my heart for "Midnight" themes that incorporate black with other colors, like red or dark blue.

Thanks for the suggestion, Exo. It works on most sites it seems, but on the homepage of the forums, it makes the blue a bit darker and doesn't work (at least on my end) for sections and threads. It'll flicker the right color scheme and then it'll go back to normal. For some reason, this message box is darker, though. I might can find another extension that does practically the same thing, though.
