Possibly been purposed already but is there anyway to disable the start thread option for users until they reach a certain post count, similar to the one to link images etc.

Might help cut out some of the spammers.

Let's see hurr...

This is a Music-oriented forum / A majority [if not all] of the users on here probably QUITE enjoy music / This was [probably] suggested a multitude of times in the past / Hello, you're reading my post.

So I think we should have a profile music player, much like a playlist. I've been to other forums that run roughly on the same engine as this, so I'm confident in this forum's ability to incorporate the feature. PLUS [yes, there's more. Sit back] we should express our individuality at the highest possible calibur [music, dudes] which ROCKS. +1 Individuality

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but this forum is huge [in case you were unaware / been in a coma during your time here] and I'm only one person.

The end? [possibly, not probably]

We already tried something like this. New users couldn't start threads for the first 24 hours. It didn't work. They just ended up spamming existing threads, which actually makes it more difficult to find & slower to delete.

It could be a good idea in theory but only if it's in the profile page and nowhere else. It's bad enough having to scroll through some peoples huge sigs let alone adding a playlist to them as well.

My notion of a "Profile Music Player" did, indeed, intend it to be in a profile.
