He said s_k's username was lame and unoriginal and included a smilie to show he was kidding.

He then edited his post to get rid of BOTH the smilie and the mention of s_k's username being lame and unoriginal.

Why exactly would that be harsh?

No I wasn't. I just thought it was harsh, based on the fact that I didn't see the smilely. And people need to stop thinking every opinion I have is from a mods perspective, it was from a members perspective.
