To be fair, post count doesn't matter. It's not like the bigger your post count is the bigger your male pride/ego is. I don't get why everyone wants big post counts. It's nothing special actually, you dont get any badges once you hit 1,000+ ;)

I actually don't like how high my post count is. Makes me seem like a pretty serious post whore.

Same every so often I glance at it an just think "Jesus christ". I hate to imagine what it'd be like if lounge posts counted. :|

I was talking to MojoJojo about how you and I spent a lot of time in the lounge.
After Lucifer Sam told me that I just started using this as a music forum and I had 2,000 posts already.
Had posts in the lounge counted, we'd have sooo many posts. xD

It's quality not quantity that counts, my dear. ;)

Although by that measure I probably fail miserably.

Noo, I mean posts shouldn't be a way to measure.
^_^ We made ourselves known in the lounge, and that's okay too.

That's what I meant.

I dunno if its my computer or something but I make a post and then I check five minutes later for responses and its gone...and I'm not starting that many new threads, just the Stephen Hawking one....and I know my posts arn't BRILLIANT but its just kinda strange....that they're disappearing.....without my knoweledge.....

Yea that does seem a little strange.
I don't see the point of deleting a user's post and not informing the person of why the action was taken... doesn't really address anything in the long term. That's something you'll probably want to take up with the mods if it keeps happening.

Weird. I can't find any sign of your posts being deleted in the mod logs. Let us know if it happens again.

The same thing happened to me after my first post on MB, Tumor. I posted the post, and saw it, but then logging in later observed it had disappeared, so I wrote Right-Track (the first mod listed at the time) to see what I had done wrong so that I could avoid having future posts deleted.

Then, when I looked back at the songwriting thread yet again, I saw that the post *was* there! So I wrote Right-Track back and said that there must have been a computer glitch...or that I was in error about the post's disappearance in the first place.

I don't see how I could have erred, though, in seeing my VERY FIRST POST online and then checking back a little later to find it gone. I thought it was all very mysterious. Either that or I was going crazy...so I prefer mysterious.:p:
