Well, it wasn't obvious to me. Unkown told me what happened, so yeah, I get that. I was hoping HHBH would sorta walk the line for parody's sake, but that was uncalled for.

I saw the post and only found one of the descriptions graphic tbh. I think he's pretty good friends with 2 of the members mentioned, so it was more a a bit of good-natured ribbing.

For those who saw the profilings, the one about the tinychat was a bit over-the-top probably (even though it did have a point in the end, which I :laughing:'d at), but the one about the paint I don't see as any worse than anything else said on MB all the time and the part about the resemblance to the actor was self-imposed, so hhbh wasn't really passing judgement on him, just mentioning what he brought up in the first place.

Most of what he said was pretty situational, and if you were involved in the original conversations you would understand it wasn't all that malicious, but I get that maybe it looks bad when you don't have that foresight. hhbh is a cool guy though so I thought it was worth a mention.

OK we'll just allow any old shit in people's journals and if any of it is abusive other members we'll just assume it's one big joke that everybody is already in on.

I dunno, you're the mod, it's your decision. I think you made the right call with what you knew, I'm not complaining, just trying to make the picture clearer.

When people are friends, they can take shots at each other without being spiteful. We all do it; I've seen you call Vanilla a dumb bitch and knew you were joking, but if you called me one I would treat it completely different.

Before the journal was deleted (YAY!) I saw what he posted about me. I can tell you I WAS offended, mostly by the graphic nature of it, from someone I don't even know and who hadn't got the balls to PM me with his slavering rantings in person. It seems that if you criticise the bunny's style, writing, subject matter or be critical in any way you draw his ire, and then he writes a vitriolic post about you, not so much crossing the line, as Marge Simpson said, as throwing up on it. And you.

And no, although someone may be under the false impression he and I are friends, we are certainly not. I pick my friends carefully, and if HHBH and I were the only ones left alive on the planet, I'd be over my side of the Earth and he could have the other side.

I'm glad common decency prevailed in the end. I've no problem with people expressing themselves, and had decided just to stay out of his journal as I had no interest in, or regard for it, but personal attacks should not be tolerated, here or anywhere else.
