For me, I buy as much beer as I'm planning on drinking that night, so there is never a "surplus" in my refrigerator. Drinking one of my beers is a serious dent in my plans.

I'm a compulsive drinker. I never really plan to buy alcohol, I just get it if i'm at the store and I feel like drinking that night.
