Can people stop treating Announcements, Suggestions, & Feedback threads like they're lounge threads please.

Thanks

So if there is already a thread on a subject we should join in with that one instead of starting a new one? I'm going to have to do a lot of 'searching' to see what has been covered and what hasn't.

Well the forum has been going for years so you can expect most bands have a thread, most genres and subgenres and favourite albums and such. It kind of pushes people to think up new ideas rather than the tired old "band X is better than band Y" or "My favourite song is" threads.

But yeah: do a little searching before starting up something new, unless you know for certain it hasn't been covered before, like maybe Egyptian clog-dancing with hip-hop and nu-jazz.... hey....

There is a search function at the top of the page for a reason. Use it. Also if it isn't working all that great. Type what you are looking for into google and add musicbanter at the end of it and threads containing those words will show up.

It's not as difficult or confusing as having a hundred threads on the same topic.
