A little bit of both, open your eyes and maybe you will see the bigger picture.

What bigger picture?

If we had a hidden agenda, a lot more of you would be banned than there are.

The only hidden agenda I had as a mod was ignoring as many of the rules being broken as possible so I could get on with posting.

You really think having power over you lot is worth the hassle that comes with it?

Hell, the only reason I stayed a mod so long was because I enjoyed having 200 PM spaces. Nothing to do with power trips at all.

I acted like I owned the place long before I was ever made a mod.

I know there are a few mods that stand firmly behind this idea and based off of what Dirty wants is a bit much imo. We don't really need to know/see the exact post. We would have seen the exact post if we were online at the time because this is a public forum but if it gets deleted it's normally for a good reason. We already talked about this in another thread but the basics of why someone gets banned would be nice and I know of the mods that are on board with having something related to that going on. At the end of the day it's ultimately up to them to decide how they will handle this and being a member, you just either go along with what they decide or you leave and not be a member anymore.

Excellent post.

And we will always tell you the basics (what rule they broke and how long they're banned) of why someone was banned through PM.

What happens if a mod gets pissed about the post in a matter of seconds? Then the mod will delete it and no one will see it - same difference.

And I believe you can evidently see that. I was a bitch before and I'm a bitch now. I'm not going to stop being myself because I'm mod, and I believe that fire in me is why I was hired for the job in the first place.

Isn't it nice when people agree ;)

You've actually never struck me as a "fired up bitch," but if that is the requirement to become a moderator then I sure as hell won't become one (that and my infraction).

You're sort of evading the question...

Don't feel like I am going against you either. I honestly want to know what that "bigger picture" is. Perhaps I am missing something (although, I doubt it).
