I knew there was a good reason for me to stop modding.

You cannot please all of the people all of the time and on many occasions mods are damned if they do or damned if they don't. It's a thankless task which IS voluntary and some calls are bad are some are good.

I miss being a mod at times and fancy slapping a few people around but then threads like this are created and I think no maybe I don't!

I do think with Urban back on board a little backbone is back on the forum but the site has still maintained a decent level of moderation for a long while.

I would love to see the MB reader section updated and expanded on a lot more though. The journal area used to be a really active section but has suffered in the last year or so and more people posting in there would be great.

Exactly what it means. Threads are created where you have to justify yourself when PM's could do the same job and it then becomes a thankless task to be a mod.

I don't mind justifying myself to people who legitimately use this forum and contribute it.

But when it comes to people who only come here to use the shoutbox as a welcome mat, spend all their time in chatrooms and only bother to come onto the forum when the drama from those places spills over to the forum to complain about how this place is modded then as far as i'm concerned those people can fuck right off.

I just thought I'd point that out in case anyone thought I had a 'Hidden Agenda'
