You guys rocked during this whole thing. I'm with the other mods when I say I was actually quite touched you were all ready to leave based on this... And your only request was that the current mod staff stayed? That was awesome.

And if any of you are really pissed... You are just jealous you didn't get to troll with all the perks of modship. It was a ton of fun. HA.

At very many points, we were afraid of certain members being like "oh no, this obviously isn't happening".

Jack pat, in fact, PM'd me asking me if it was a joke. I really, really wanted to tell him it was, but I had to refrain. I really didn't want to spill before the climax. Prejaculation style.

Anyway, we all actively campaigned as our regular selves in somewhat of a defense of the untrue truth for quite a while. Ever since Jay joined, in fact. We originally wanted to reveal on the 1st, but everyone was expecting that. So we figured, why not wait a few days afterward and eliminate the expectation?

That, we did. Again, we apologize if it was in poor taste, but I really think the whole ordeal, fake or not, has made some very important things apparent. And I would like everyone to know that no matter how much hate I get for my part in this, I at least have the warmth of knowing that you guys dug me when I was at imminent risk of being kicked out of the mod squad along with everyone else.

Hope that doesn't sound too selfish!
