I have no problem at all. The forum is well controlled, that's the main thing, and the utmost important. Personally I think the mods are doing a great job. Moderating a large forum, or taking care of a community is never an easy one. You really just have to stick with the system.

Mods are also employed because of their judgement for dealing with these matters. Everything is subjective, that's where you come in.

If you want more people to speak up, maybe start a poll and link to it in a signature. I think very few members who aren't veterans read this part of the site and even fewer would feel comfortable posting criticism of someone else's home.

The churn rate (inactivity) of non-spammy members might be just as effective way of determining general user satisfaction, though not why some people are dissatisfied.

(Personally I think the site has some problems, but I don't think it's notably run badly or anything.)

In my term as a moderator, I can't say I've seen users afraid to speak up when they are legitimately concerned. People have torn us all new ones over misunderstandings or complications in the system.

That said, they're always welcome to PM a mod they are comfortable with and express their concern. I'm not sure about a poll, because I'm not really convinced that it's problematic enough to warrant one, or all of the arguing and work that would result from it.

Sure, if noone agrees, then it's not worth going on about. But as for discussing it, these discussions is the reason I come to these forums in the first place
