Or delete someone's journal without telling them.

You helped me out a lot when I first came here a few years back and I will never forget that, just one of the reasons I have so much respect for you now and always will.
Thanks again for the kind words Necro. It's just in my nature to help out people in need. For example, this Asian foreign exchange student stopped me in Walmart yesterday and needed help finding one of those stain pens but he couldn't think of the name for it or where to find it. He described it a bit for me and I took him to the section where he could find the different ones. He thanked me three or four times. It was a bit awkward but yeah I didn't mind doing it.

I remember him giving people a head's up(two week warning or so) about that before he did that unless you are talking about another incident.

hahaha, out for blood, huh buddy?

I created the journals, and made innumerate notes about how I wanted to keep it clean.

Its not my fault the Blue Bar likes that sloppy junk pile we call a journal forum as it currently is.

That takes too much time. I'm not that involved.

Anything you can truly to to help this place grow, you can do as a regular old joe. You don't have to be a moderator to start album clubs, or come up with event ideas, or write some awesome threads, or make the site welcome to new members, or write provocative posts, or anything else that improves the community. Being a moderator is more of a maintenance job than anything else. The only significant difference between a moderator and a user is that you can delete posts and threads and give warnings to people.

Sometimes it feels like you've got to be a moderator to get people to listen to your ideas, or inspire them to participate in your threads, but that doesn't come to you with a blue name. I had my fair share of worthless dud threads and ideas, as well as some fun ones. Good ideas will out themselves, regardless of who has them.

If you want to help improve the community, that doesn't start with a blue name. That starts with you having an idea and donating your energy to making it happen. If you want to work for the community and for one another, start now. There's nothing stopping you! If you want to have a blue name so people will listen to you, so you can be desired by people, so you can feel like the foundation of Music Banter, then you're not in it for the right reasons, because you can cultivate those qualities in yourself just the way you are.
