Answers for newbie please :)

Hi. Just joined here a couple of days ago and I have two slight problems...

1. I can't see a 'notifications' facility at the top of the screen.
Most forums have this so that I know if someone has contacted me, quoted a post or wants feedback?
I can't very well trawl through all the threads to find where I last posted.

2. May be out of your control, but the Tapatalk shortcut doesn't work.
It says "contact administrator".
I find Tapatalk much quicker to use for posting and it also offers 'favourites' and 'participated' icons.

There is the user CP in the upper left hand corner that will show threads you posted in and upper right hand corner is notifications for private messages.

Can't help with Tapatalk question since I have no idea. I don't use it.

Yes DJ is right. If you have a friendship request, PM, or vistor message it will show up automatically by clicking on User CP. I also don't know much about Tapatalk. Someone else might be able to help, I'm pretty sure our mod Burning Down uses Tapatalk.

As dj and Vanilla have already said, this is the User CP. But for it to notify you of recent posts, you have to set the Default Thread Subscription Mode under Edit Options to "no email notification" or another notification setting. That automatically subscribes you to any thread you post in.
