If people don't see color then they don't see the problem because they can't see the bigger picture. Cops killing innocent people and getting away with it is already a problem. Cops killing innocent black and native people disproportionately and getting away with it is an even bigger problem. But I've had this discussion before and it never ends well. A lot of white people feel as though they are having a huge finger pointed at them when that's not the case. And it seems like nobody really cares about understanding the other side. My great prophetic vision sees racial tensions in America getting much worse before getting better. Because people are stupid.

Edit: and people need to understand that location makes all the difference.

Damn, I just had Deja Vu. Yeah, it is going to get worse. Police Brutality is just bad overall. I know that not only minorities are getting killed/messed up by cops but it's really bad and they need to work on training/better community relations.

Yes and this is what I used to tell her but when I think back at all the other black women. I thought maybe there was something to it. It might be coincidental or just that we are full of *******s here and not everyone can hang.

In the first link number five is completely false.

There have been more cops that have died at the hands of white people than black people. It's an often overlooked stat that never gets brought up.

The second link provides stats based off of specific locations which Lucem did mention at the end of his post.
I just quickly skimmed over it and will read it more detail but what I've read so far is that they were only talking about specific locations and anecdotal evidence being provided to back up their point.

Nah, the truth to the story that is presented by these facts is that if there's a problem it's a policing problem. It's not a racial issue. I won't deny that there's been a lot of ****ed up cases of innocent black youth being killed by cops abusing their power, but the media tends to avoid sharing both sides of the narrative.

Look at the 2015 breakdown and tell me you don't understand why more black people are getting stopped. I'm not saying there isn't any racial bias in police actions, there are bad police officers just like there are bad individuals in every field. That isn't the reason why they're getting arrested though.

If you are trying to say just because there are more crimes in the area that people should be randomly stopped more then that's a horrible argument. Stop and risk is ineffective. All it does is pad the numbers for the amount of arrests that cops pull in for minor things like public urination, littering, etc.
