True! I'll have to ask them. Actually an alien-themed one may be better since they're obsessed with War of the Worlds (the original version, not the modern one)

Yeah, I don't think I ever finished them either. Haven't read Miracleman. It looks charming though! (based on a quick scroll through Google images at least.) What's it about?

...and I don't know why but I'm now suddenly getting very distressing flashbacks of those Animorphs novels.

That doesn't even have to be said. And I assume we're talking original written version, ie in Victorian London, as opposed to the bloody 1954 movie set in the USA? Nobody - nobody - even mention Tom Cruise, or I swear...

As for Miracleman, yeah, I read it - think it was called Marvelman here - but personally at the time I didn't like it. Batty's right though: if you took the contempt for authority Rorschach has in Watchmen and injected it into a spoiled teenager who was more interested in dancing and banging chicks than saving the world or standing up for what is right, you'd be close to what this guy is/was. Didn't he have like a Union Jack on his face or something, or was that some other weird dimension I visited?

He's involved in some top-secret project for the govt. Something about building ... um, never mind. Just be aware he took a week to reply to a PM I sent him, so you know, don't expect him to be on here too much.

I'm guessing you're thinking of Captain Britain, cause you sure ain't talking about Miracleman. But Miracleman was indeed known as Marvelman over there.

You know, it's weird, but I'm not. I might be confusing him with Zenith? My memories of Epic (where I think I read these stories) are quite hazy.
