Kinda worked out like that. Hows the world of on line journaling these days?

Well, my journals are all on hold for now as I work on my series of fantasy novels. There are some excerpts in the http://www.musicbanter.com/media/446...iting-now.html thread if you're interested.

A 'series' of fantasy novels? You're a machine.

Well, thing is, I was writing it and it already hit like seven/eight hundred pages and we're not even really halfway through or anywhere close, and I was like how am I going to sell such a huge-ass book? But I need all this stuff in it. So then I thought, make it into a linked series, so that book one doesn't have to wrap all plot strands up and can continue into book two. I'm projecting somewhere in the region of maybe eight books, none of which anyone will ever likely read, unless a miracle occurs. Do read when you get a chance; I'd love some feedback.

At least eight. Remember, George originally conceived ASOIAF as a trilogy, to say nothing of Douglas Adams...

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I sense Sword of Truth bull****.

If I had the time right now, I'd definitely check it out.

A ridiculously bloated series of hack fantasy novels that somehow has a large fanbase. I hope your books don't have quite as much gratuitous rape or Ayn Randian objectivist ranting.

Nothing wrong with hoping...
;)
I wouldn't know how to rant like Ayn Rand, so I guess the answer there would be no. There's a lot of humour and PCRs in the books. That's just ruined it for you now, hasn't it? And no, you're not in it. Yet.
