I looked at all of the Virginia news stories I could find and the only ones about anyone missing or dying were about women or a couple of hunters who went missing, and I don't think the guy's an outdoorsman. I don't think he's dead or anything.

I'm currently on hold with Burger King CS. I'm going to see if I ask if they'd tell me if an employee named Charles has died in Virginia recently. Worth a shot.

This is going to be a weird conversation with this poor CS agent.

I don't think he's dead either tbh. I reviewed all of the Charleses in a couple of Virginia obituary sites and didn't find anybody younger than 45 except for a newborn.

i did the same thing last night. also tried keyword searching news stories involving charles, virginia, and his age. nothing found though.

Maybe he's missing or abducted by aliens. Maybe he's a John Doe until they find his teeth. Damn, that last sentence made me sad.

Still on hold...

There's a million possible scenarios other than death. Family emergency, being thrown out of apartment, illness, hospitalized after car accident, depression really isn't unlikely either, busted for drug possession, etc.

Struggling to come up with some positive options, but I'm sure there would be some.

Unpaid internet bill/broken device is still my guess. Also I think he's too paranoid of a smoker to leave his house with his stuff which he never had enough of to constitute a raid, so if he's in jail it's more likely that it's for public drunkenness or that kind of thing. Hospital is equally likely though, they were getting hit with icy conditions that could have led to a car accident.
