i’m hoping and kind of still assuming this is the most likely scenario.

So, I got off the phone with BK. They put in a report that I called inquiring about the health of one Charles who may or may not work in a BK near Portsmouth, Virginia. They'll be calling me back. She did say that she does believe he's a live because it's been "a while" since somebody has passed away.

Couple possibilities here...

1. He's alive but something happened and I'll find out which will justify my poking my nose into his life.

2. He's totally fine but is happy people care about him enough to look for him.

3. He's totally fine but he's pissed off that we're contacting his place of employment looking for him.

4. He's f*cking worm food.

Well considering I just contacted BK. If he's reading this, he'll probably post because I'm getting close to his personal space.

To be fair, the f*cker hasn't shut up for more than two days ever before so eight is more than grounds for concern I believe.

We can just ban him if he's upset when he comes back.

Well I never go near Facebook, so I'd still prefer a database so in the event of my being absent for long enough, people were able to confirm that I was no longer a part of this mortal coil.

I hope he's getting a massage, reading comics while drinking booze from a coconut as we speak.

I can't imagine he'd be annoyed at this and I hate to admit that it does freak me out a bit that it's been 8 days, little as that sounds like.

Has anyone here considered that he's been in the middle of a hellish winter storm for over a week?
Bomb cyclone and all that. He's probably trying to cope with all of that right now.
