That may be the case. A close friend of mine is in a facility at present and her cell phone was locked away along with her other belongings. She can only communicate by using the pay phones. When visiting her, I've been required to put my cell and purse in a locker - no one can bring anything in from the outside due to Covid concerns.

I hope Lucem is safe and being looked after, whatever the circumstances. You're a good friend.

With the last “cryptic” text thing I’m starting to get a sinking feeling he might have overdosed on something. Of course, that’s just a pessimistic guess and even if it’s correct an OD isn’t always the worst case scenario.

I mean just remember that it's more likely that he had a breakdown and got arreated for drunk and disorderly or is hold up in his bed not doing anything but staring at the wall or he had his therapist admit him for a psychiatric hold than it is that he did anyrhing even more drastic. Or he might have just had an episode and decided he was done with social media or the internet.
