I don't see too big a moral difference in calling him an ephebophile instead and I think you just don't want to accept that the guy you've been friends with all this time might be kind of a bad dude. I imagine [Merit] isn't all bad either but antisemitism and homophobia are just easier traits to demonize post-Hitler than just being creepy about teenage girls and *checks notes* supporting Muslim genocide.

No, that's an easy assumption to make but if you think I don't accept that you've forgotten what my conflicts with him were like. I've never claimed that he didn't do anything wrong
