He shows plenty of personality when you speak your mind about a topic opposite to what some other members are viciously ranting about while the other side mysteriously gets off scot free

The saltiness you're tasting is Batlord, covered in the tears of those slain by the power of True Metal.

I see somebody's read my new journal entry.

^ Indeed. Truly, twas a triumph of steel, and a sign of the hammering that is soon to befall those who revel in lesser Metals.

I just wish I'd had one more actually good Manowar album to review before I finished with the LP's. Feels wrong to end on two mediocre notes. Hopefully the rest of their discography will yield some serious hidden gems.

Of course, I could always change my mind about an album and come back to it. I doubt I'll ever come to enjoy Gods of War, but The Lord of Steel and Fighting the World seem to be growing on me a bit. And there's still the rerecorded versions of Battle Hymns and Kings of Metal. I don't remember being particularly impressed by them, but who knows.

And I'm gonna rationalize that this isn't an off topic post since I miss Manowar posting good albums.
