Is Paul Smeenus alright? Awhile back, I remember him saying something about going to the hospital. The last time I saw him was in plug, some time ago.

He's still rehabbing but he's doing better.

No, it means you're bitter/petty about something. Unless you're pretzels or ****, its not a good thing.

Oh I see. Here in the UK calling someone salty is calling them down to earth

.

I miss Lisna. Where's he been?

The sad nature of forums like this is that people come, stay for a bit, and then leave without another word. We're all like mini celebrities here, with some of us leaving and fading into obscurity and some of us sticking around with longevity.

It's just the nature of things.

Trollheart 10-14-2015 03:38 PM

Some, yes, but there is a general core of members who stay active, and when they're not around people do ask. This is how we all started wondering about Howard, with a sad result, and why one or two people were concerned when I didn't show up for a week, which turned into a month.

We're like a really dysfunctional family.

The Batlord 10-14-2015 08:02 PM

And just like a family, when the person we were worrying about is back we want them gone five minutes later.

Well one is "salt of the earth," and the other is "(feeling) salty." The latter means being upset, and according to one Urb Dict entry it's attributed as originating in Philadelphia.
