Default Post Text Limit of 20,000 Characters

We are currently limited to 20,000 characters per post. This also includes any coding that is added to things such as list and links, which aren't a part of the written sentence that shows up when the entry is made.

This is very limiting, especially when I want to make a big list that is relevant to a topic. Is there any way this can changed?

I don't know if it can be changed but, luckily, we don't have a posting limit.

The issue is adjusting earlier posts where this listing information would make more sense (adding to the first post), instead of adding it sparsely throughout or at the end. I will have to add it at the end, but the end is undermentioned at this time. I would have to start a new thread.

This is all going over my drunken head, but my first journal is surely being held back by this restriction. For every day that this crime is not resolved, a mod shall be touched inappropriately.

It's always been an issue, but sure you just split up your entries, that's how I do it. Not sure why there's a limit, same as there's a ten-image limit per post (that really annoys me) but I doubt anyone's going to change it now, so suck it up and find ways around it, as we all do, would be my sage advice.

It's not a big deal, as I assume it's a rule as old as the site. Just seeing if someone with the site's technical knowledge knows what's the dealeo, or if changing the limit # would crash Music Banter. Sucks when your vision is greater than what you're workin' with.

Whatever it takes to fight this tyranny and suppression.
