If purposeless attacks have a purpose, as you stated when clarifying what it meant, are they actually purposeless? And does this mean certain people can no longer talk about their infuriating opinions?

If I express my hatred for capitalism and receive the retort you’re just a disgruntled lazy c unt who’s pissed off about being broke I’m cool with the mods letting it sit. But I’m not lazy. I worked through college. I funded traveling the world by working overseas. I went back to school. Got another degree. studied and passed certification exams for five subject areas. Worked is extraordinarily difficult classrooms for a decade. I’m saying if someone says I’m broke because of some kind of bull**** untrue assumptions. I’ll wait. If it stands I’m ripping a mother****ers jugular out. I can take it but I can also dish it out. You don’t like my politics deal with my politics. But don’t personalize my politics.

I was actually happy to see that you responded to a post of mine recently because I legit thought you hated me for coming back. No hard feelings obviously since it was my own assumption.

Obviously I'm glad to see someone taking action, as it's about time. Personal, nasty stuff was almost the cause of my leaving here last year (sorry everyone: so close, I know!) and while I've without doubt surprised myself by the thickness of the skin I've grown over the years, occasionally things go too far and that can still hurt. Hopefully I haven't crossed that line myself (if I have I apologise), as I like to think (in whatever deluded way I see the world) that I'm a nice person, and will continue to try to be so.

I do hope that, as you say Exo, this will apply though to EVERYONE, regardless of status, as if just one person gets away with breaking the rules then the rules themselves become pretty pointless. We don't want no Trumps around here.

I hate to say it, but that makes you more of a target. That doesn't apply just to you, but anyone really. If they know you get upset easily they are going take advantage of that every time and pull your chain more, to get a reaction. Face it, no matter what people do they generally take the course of less resistances. If you're offering no resistance when it comes to their trolling and taking the bait every time, then it you'll always be considered an easy target. I know you probably want to scream "Stop!" and have it stop, but it won't till you stop over-reacting to them.
