Listening to it might help you decide

Shit, I forgot how great this album was. I saw a copy of "Spiderland" in a record store the other day, I really should have picked that shit up, but my recent experiences with reissues have made me really, really wary about pressing quality and whether or not they used an actual master. More research is required.

maybe you don't want to spend $150 but an assured quality reissue is coming soon..

From what I've gathered, Touch & Go either made a shitload of copies, or they're still pumping them out out. I should have picked it up as it was a legit RI, but I've had really fucking bad experiences with two "labels" in particular, 1972 and Plain Recordings. I'm not a hi-fi kinda guy, but god they fucked up some represses pretty bad.

I hope I like the remaster.

My favorite post rock by miles.

For sure a classic, one of my faves.

This is a great album. I've been addicted to the riff on Washer as of late.

I really enjoy the album, I feel the two first songs are the strongest and what really holds up the album. Who knew such a simple album cover could hold such suggestive and impressive music.

I think that the strongest track is the final track 'Good Morning, Captain'. The yelling towards the end of the song gives me goosebumps. It's the sound of pent-up frustration and angst building up and then spilling over into an outpouring of emotion.
