Well, what albums have you heard? Feels and Sung Tongs are spectacular.

Hah, Merriweather and Here Comes The Indian are like polar opposites, you should check out Feels or Sung Tongs, both albums are a nice medium for the band.

I've started to listen to Feels. It's much different than Here Comes the Indian. They seem to be a band that is constantly evolving. To me, it's still sounding like noice. I know they get more melodic with Merriweather. Is this something that you guys loved from the first listen, or did it take some growing?

For me personally, it's something I loved right away. The first song I heard was The Purple Bottle off of Feels. Because I'd never heard of the band and the only other indie bands I listened to were Neutral Milk Hotel and Belle and Sebastian, I heard Animal Collective as something amazing.

I am on my third record. Indian was first, then Feels, then Merriweather. Its not starting to sound as bad as when I began (maybe thats because I am going from the beginning to the latest in their catalogue.) I am starting to see the elements of their music fit together. Idk if it's my favorite at the moment though
