The moment Animal Collective really sunk it's fangs into me wasn't after I heard MPP, though I did really like that album, it was Peacebone. The vocals totally enthralled me. The beat steadily builds during the chorus, making you want to dance, the voice skips octaves, and my god it's just so damn catchy. Peacbone is still one of my favorite songs of all time, and my 3 favorite Animal Collective songs are on Strawberry Jam, my favorite AC album, the songs being Peacebone, For Reverend Green and Fireworks. The strength of those three songs alone makes me overlook any faults Strawberry Jam may have.

Actually the more I think on it, Who Could Win a Rabbit might be in that top three instead of For Reverend Green. For Reverend Green is number four.
