( ) is the best one for sure. Untitled 8 is their most intense song easily! That DVD where they play in Iceland is unreal.

I rate Ágætis Byrjun over ( ) but i definitely agree with you on Untitled 8, it builds into one of the most intense, memorable, mind-blowing climaxes ever. It's definitely one of my favourite SR tracks.

I think I've come to the school of thought of Agaetis being their best, after thinking it was () for about forever.

Ágætis byrjun is really lovely but I think it's impossible for me to ever escape the colossal aura of epicness that ( ) has.

So i'm giving my first full listen of Valtari today. And holy shit, this album is incredible. Matches exactly what I was hoping for in terms of a new Sigur Ros album. It's very relaxing and very emotional in all aspects. I just listened to Dauðalogn. Then it turns to Varðeldur.

This albums is incredible so far. I'm excited to see how the rest plays out.

They saved the best song for last with 'Fjögur Píanó', it's one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard from them. I'm loving Valtari so far, it's certainly not as accessible as Takk so it might put off a few people, but it's a damn fine addition to their discography.

I'm excited to hear the final track then. I just listened to the Valtari track. Another absolutely beautiful track. This may become my 2nd favorite album below Takk, because I still find that album to be one of their greatest pieces of work.

There's always an anxiousness that goes along with the release of a new album from a band you love but I'm really, really thrilled with Valtari.
