I was actually slightly underwhelmed the first time I listened to Takk, but after a while I grew to really like it. I can safely say that 'Saeglopur' is one of the best things they've ever done.

Fucking hell I'm seeing these guys live at the end of August and I can't bloody wait.

Yeah I'm always really anxious when bands like this release new albums, especially when they already have an incredible back catalogue, it's usually always going to be a disappointment. But Valtari has certainly impressed me and it's great that they have progressed their sound instead of threading back over old ground .
