that sucks man, it really does.

I think they will be the best in a small venue that's why i'm so hellbent on seeing them, even if I do have sexam that same day.

it could be worse, i've had to cancel going to ATP because i have a sexam during the festival. So i'm missing Electric Wizard, the Jesus Lizard reunited, Sleep reunited, Young Marble Giants, Grouper, Jesu, Devo, Spiritualized, Harvey Milk, Hush Arbors, Lydia Lunch and a host of others I wanted to see, because I'm doing a politics exam. S'hit? You betcha.

And now I gotta offload the ticket too, more hassle

mainly i'm pissed at missing the Jesus Lizard, Sleep and Electric Wiz tho.

anyway, enjoy Mogwai you lucky bastard

lol, sorry, I didn't even realize I typed sexam, I was talking to my roommate about something (well, sex i guess that's kinda obvious), when I was writing that comment, I guess it kinda filtered in.

I heard the jesus lizard is supposed to be great though, it sucks you're missing that too.

I actually think I'll be seeing them when they come to Toronto too in May. I was going to go a few months ago, but they had to postpone some of their North American dates because one of the band members had a pace maker problem (I think).

This is currently giving Hunted By a Freak a run for its money on my Mogwai top list:

Not just Sleep, Sleep playing Holy Mountain in its entirety! And I am gonna start chewing through limbs if the Wizard don't do a proper tour soon, its been years and I have never seen them live.

That festival looked well good, but its not really convenient for me. Plus everyone I know who would enjoy it arent going so I didnt really have a choice in the matter anyway.

Songs such as Hunted By A Freak, Travel is Dangerous and I Know You Are But What am I? are great and all, but its the stuff like Ratts of the Capital, Christmas Steps, Mogwai Fear Satan, We're No Here and Like Herod that make Mogwai peerless

post-rock. By the way if you like them you should check out The Fountain soundtrack By Clint mansell. They played on it but didn't write anything.
