This seems like a pretty unlikely request, but I figured it's worth making anyway. Basically I'm looking for a skilled vocalist (ie someone who can hit notes) because I can't sing but I think vocals are an essential element to my music. So basically I could keep recording my own ****ty vocals or I could try to find someone else to do it instead. Basically I would probably write the lyrics and attach them to sheet music plus I'd send the beat of the song or whatever else you need to record a vocal track. Unless of course someone has their own lyrics and what not and is interested in more of a collaboration. In any case, there is no money involved in this whatsoever. It would just be for shits and giggles, and pride or whatever else. As I said, an unlikely request, but there it is.

I put up a new song in case any of you are interested,
it's called "Methods of Ascent and Dissent."
It's the first song at MySpace.com - The Incredible Flying Torture Orchestra - CHICAGO, Illinois - Experimental / Concrete / Healing & EasyListening - www.myspace.com/tifto
And I think you lose a lot through MySpace's
audio compression so it would probably sound
better if you downloaded it (it has a fair amount of depth)

In any case, I'd be grateful if anyone
listened and gave their opinion.

I will certainly give it a listen and you raise a very moot point about compression. I think so many people are genuinely unaware how much is lost sonically through compression and in this age of downloadable albums are we getting the full deal?

If you're really bored, feel free to check out this 9 minute long jam (song will automatically start) I recorded with my brother today. And if you manage to work up the motivation to click on the link and listen to the first couple seconds, you could maybe even give some feedback. Hell, constructive criticism - well, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself there. If you feel like it don't bother clicking on it at all and just tell me it was a piece of shi t.

If you do make it through, I would be most grateful if you could give it some kind of rating on a scale of bad - terrible.
kinda reminds me of lustmord........if you dont know he is go check him out oh and dustbox as well

here's a new song/work in progress that i'd really like some opinions on.
originally my thought was to write a story and just read it over the music,
so it would be an album and a book/short story all in one
i might abandon that idea. this would technically be the second track,
plays right after my song "epilogue" so the intro is a
continuation of the outro on that one...
as such it takes a while to build up momentum

Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
