Default Brian Eno

I hear people say he's the father of ambient/experimental rock, any recommendations as to what I should check out first to start with?
I've heard a few songs off of another green world, which to be perfectly honest did nothing. They also sounded a little too cheesy. But I'm open...

His first 4 albums weren't really ambient they were basically Roxy Music albums without Bryan Ferry.

Check out Music For Airports , Or any of the Music For Films sereis. Also he's done some good collaberations such as My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts , the album he did with David Byrne of Talking Heads and also check out Wrong Way Up , the album he did with John Cale.

I prefer his producing to his music but he has some decent stuff. "An Ending (Ascent)" is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

Music For Films is a decent album.

But like I said I like his producing a lot more than his albums.

The **** he did with U2, Bowie and Talking Heads is the ****ing ****.

For my money, it's all about "Before and After Science"...kind of a glam/ambient hybrid.
