Throughout listening to the first video I had the nagging feeling "aah I'm really enjoying this but in a second they're going to start singing and it'll be screamo and I really won't like it ..." but then they just ... didn't sing. And it was beautiful. Great find, I'm gonna check out some more of their stuff and maybe look into getting the album.

If you need a hook up, just give me a shout. I have an awful feeling that the last time i offered in this thread i then forgot all about, i cant really remember now.

Mojo 12-04-2009 06:25 PM

They still have a lot of touring of the UK to do this year including a number of oversea's festivals and a massive gig with the mighty CLUTCH in Leeds later this year and so I would expect a lot more exposure to come over the following months and years.

This is what I mean, you alcoholic.

Oh yeah. Duh. And i forgot about this AGAIN. Ill sort an up for you but feel free to spam the hell out of me if i forget anymore.

Anyone been following the blogs on their myspace? The exploding truck one is crazy!

Also delighted to see that they got dates wtih TCV (a while ago by now). My band was lucky enough to support them, before they really hit it to the big time, and it was easily one of the best live shows i have seen.

damn, they need to tour around where I live. No decent bands ever come to New Brunswick :(

Their self titled album was definitely my favourite of '09.. I have yet to check out their other stuff, though.

First brought to my attention due to their current UK tour with the fantastic MAYBESHEWILL they play a blend of very mathy post rock and sharp, aggressive instrumental metal. In my own humble opinion they craft quite an intelligently structured form of post rock/metal, maybe a little more complex than a lot of the exceptionally long and ever growing line of similar instrumental bands which has made this record and this band stand out somewhat from the rest of the genre that I have been absorbing gradually over the last year or so.

Recommended to fans of: MAYBESHEWILL, 65DAYSOFSTATIC, RUSSIAN CIRLES.

("SET GUITARS TO KILL")

("I CAPTURE CASTLES (LIVE)"

They're a really decent band, which surprised the hell out of me with a crap name like that. I also recommend these guys... change their name...and keep making music.

I saw these guys on on a late night Irish TV programme a while back and I was blown away by a) how tight they are and b) how clever the arrangements are - they have to be with no vocals. Well worth a look if you are in London on the 12th I'd say.
