Anything like Stump leaning towards the random yet patterned lyrics of their hit "Buffalo"
I like anything that doesn't go completely off the map and starts dragging a beautiful riff into a 4 min performance loop. |
No one can beat "Tera Melos"
"Drugs to the Dear Youth" is the greatest math rock album ever written in my opinion. |
psych/rock/esoteric
Looking for more in the vein of this! I'm new to the genre. What IS the genre, by the way?

experimental, minimal project only with a bass
Greetings
0 is an extreme experimental, extreme minimal project with black, doom, drone elements. The only instrument used in this project is a four string bass. The act has just released its second album. You can listen the whole album at the youtube channel of the project. You just have to type "0 the experiment" in the youtube search. For those interested, there's a facebook page of the project, you have to type "0 the experiment" in facebook as well, where everything about the project is being posted. |
I'd appreciate some drone suggestions. I'm cool with anything inside that genre right now.

Hello all, I recently listened through the collaboration that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross did for David Fincher's film Gone Girl, and loved every minute of it. If anyone could recommend some albums that share a similar sound (and are preferably not soundtracks or film scores), it would be greatly appreciated!
