Loving the eclecticism at play throughout this debut, along with the samples and atmosphere on tracks like 'Bound'. It deserves a lot more attention than it seems to be getting on RYM and other places...

well it's a relatively new album by a a series of unknown artists so I'm inclined to give it some time to collect an audience. Then again last year Gin by Cobalt garnished a very sizable audience and got nearly universal acclaim. Now I mean the album totally deserved word it got because it was fucking amazing, but I'm not sure how it did it exactly. I'm hoping that this album can kind of take off in a similar fashion.

Justin Broadrick is a hero to legions of underground fans - has been for decades. I, for one, may not have given this album a listen if his name wasn't attached. Sorry for that pointless aside but I bristled at JB getting called an unknown artist.

On to the main point..great fu@king album! Ever since Jesu was born I've been convinced that Broadrick is a messianic figure in music and this is more proof. It's so rare that musicians get older and continually impress me more than they did in their youth but Broadrick is apparently blessed with magic.

Not to detract from the rest of the contributors to the album. The whole thing is just so satisfying. I love it when any music makes me feel angry, depressed and joyously uplifted all at the same time. this album does that.

So thanks, Pete, for making me take note. With that band name and cover art I may have passed this by assuming its a crappy metalcore album or something. Instead, it's now one of my favorite albums of the year

Yes perhaps I should have put "Most unknown" artists to make it a more truthful statement. I'm happy you enjoyed the album though
