Uh yeah... but that's pretty much the case with everything isn't it?

If you haven't listened to The Bees Made Money in The Lion's Skull (2008) then you want to give that a try before writing off the band entirely.

Earth 2. It just doesn't seem to grab me like Monoliths and Dimensions. Maybe it's the production or something?

Ditto. That or Hex. Neither of which are really drone, but they're both great.

Last night, I had a dream that I saw them live. I remember that Greg didn't show up and it was just Stephen, but it ****ing rocked. Also, Stephen O'Malley had a piano on stage and he was playing the guitar and the piano at the same time while screaming. My bones rattled and it was epic. All of my friends left the stadium because they couldn't handle the noise, but I stayed for the entire thing.

Only if I could actually see them live

Dont we all! I heard that they play so loud everyone in attendance at the concert has to wear earplugs or they'll go deaf. And that when they start playing it's to overwhelming to move cause your body is vibrating. Just nuts!

I've known about Sun O))) for awhile, but from the few tracks I've heard they've pretty much bored the piss out of me. What am I doing wrong, do I have to be high to actually enjoy it? I mean, I don't think I would enjoy it even if I was high because it just makes my stomach turn trying to listen to these guys. I'm pretty experienced with the experimental and avant-garde (ex.Derek Baily, Throbbing Gristle, Sun City Girls, Gastr Del Sol) so what's the deal? Why am I not enjoying this?
