yes!....this site is amazing....i feel like a school boy in his first candy store

i just watched a bunch of Muehl's films while Swans Children of God played.....to quote Belinda Carlisle....heaven is indeed a place on earth

somewhere on Brainwashed is an interview with Genesis P-Orridge about his time at the Actionist "art commune".....sounded more like artist degradation/boot camp

I was lucky enough to see Crispin in person at a showing of "It is Fine...". He did a long introduction and a very thoughtful Q&A afterwards.
He's an extremely down-to-earth person and he talked a lot about how he has always saved up his Hollywood money to make his own films. Possibly the coolest man in the world.
His dad, Bruce (also a film actor), was in the audience and was out selling merch afterwards.
It was a watershed moment of my life.

i have to say that out of the two i enjoy IT is Fine a little bit more....i just really liked the linear story vs the Dadaist film making....although both are wonderful

and yeah he really is such an approachable person....even for a fanboy like me

Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
