Default Who misses the older FSOL sound?

I listen to Lifeforms and just am blown away at how far ahead of their time they were.

Lifeforms is awesome. Dead Cities is also pretty underrated.

Not sure I miss that sound in contemporary electronica, but yeah, Future Sound of London were pretty cool

FSOL just sounded lush and organic to my ears. Most of what they did was sample based of course. The music these days just doesn't seem as imaginative to me.

I think the last three years have been the best yet for ambient music. I was real into FSOL when they first came out but I haven't listened to them for a long time. I think I need to revisit their music.

The only one I heard was Lifeforms - it's great. I couldn't find any of their other records though and forgot about them... any others worth checking out?

if you liked Lifeforms, you're better off getting the similar-sounding Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 by The Aphex Twin
