Default Prometheus Burning.

A few years ago Prometheus Burning released an Album called "A plague Called Humanity" She is an intense and dark artist and her sound is definitely on the harder spectrum of the industrial realm. She is openly critical of organised religion and the patriarchal order.

I don't know if she has pagan beliefs, but there is a yearning for a natural order and a questioning of the failings of humanity. A common theme through out her music is creation of false hope and the deceit that proceeds the inevitable decay of any sense of morality.

The music its self carries through the urgency of her lyrics with distorted at times electro industrial beats. There is a seething resentful undercurrent that flows through out this album that is hard to describe, its not like punk or hardcore, its more subtle, but at the same time more real as well.

She is a pretty unique artist and the only other artist who sounds remotely similar
is Unternull although there is some release with Unternull, there is none with Prometheus Burning.

If you like music that does not compromise lyrically than this is it. Despite its gloomy undertones its actually very funky at the same times if that makes any sense. I am just wondering if anyone else is familiar with her sound ?
