I've always been a fan of the eastern canadian post rock scene.

There is a lot of crap in the genre, but there's also bands like gy!be, swans, slint etc.

The issue is that even though post rock is supposed to be "experimental", so much of it is so derivative. I'd love to see more post rock with other more unorthodox (for the genre) influences. I'm totally down for a post folk album or something.
