Beethovens slow movements have a way of pulling you in. They might seem easy to understand at first. The feelings they carry and the small changes they make grow stronger every time you listen. I believe that is one of the reasons they last long they give more when you take your time and pay close attention instead of looking for something that hits you right away. Each musician who plays them adds their view which keeps the music new. It's wonderful how music created than 200 years ago can still feel so close and emotional now.
