Any suggestions for Vivaldi (aside from The Four Seasons)?

Check out his concertos for flute. Here is my personal favourite, and one that I'm currently learning:

Flute Concerto in D Major, RV 428

Just thought I'd share a few pieces I've been listening to a lot lately, hopefully I can spread the enjoyment around.

Just posted this one in the thread I made for Ludovico Einaudi, but I'm posting it again so no one misses it. :P

Found this through an amazing film called Mary and Max, it was used as the theme and it completely blew me away. I listen to it when I need a mood boost.

This one's also from a film, though I haven't seen it. A friend put this on a mix and now I'm afraid to watch the movie because I'm afraid it will ruin the song for me .

Chopin's Nocturne Opus 55 No. 1 is one of my favourite songs. I know very little about classical in general, but are there any similar piano songs? Searching is hard, seeing as though there seems to be a lack of albums :p

Classical Pianist, Fabio D'Andrea

Hi,

Just came across Fabio D'Andrea's page on Youtube. Always nice to see new and fresh renditions of the well-loved masterpieces...thought I would recommend!

Check out Fabio Dandrea official on Youtube.

This genre is the least one I've explored. I want to steer away from Bach, Mozart (and some others I can't remember) and towards a more dramatic direction.

Any recs would be appreciated.

Have you heard Gorecki Symphony of Sorrowful Songs? LOL just don't tell GrapevineFires.

Listening to Gorecki now. Lovely stuff.

Also more modern post classical sort of stuff like Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Michael Nyman, Philip Glass, Nils Frahm, Clint Mansell.
