Default Canon in D

The most beautiful and perfect piece of music I have ever heard.

Your thoughts?

I agree, nothing can quite catch it's beauty. Of coarse symphony 9 is good to, then again thats Beetoven and not Mozart.

I think the most beautiful piece of music ever is Samuel Barber's "Adagio For Strings," along with many other classical pieces that have the words Requiem or Fuga in their title.

For me the most beautiful piece of music i've ever experienced would be the promise from michael nymans soundtrack to the piano, Canon is nice but hardly worthy of the same praise in my eyes.
