I would have to say that my favorite piano player would be Scott Joplin or Fredrick Chopan(not sure of the spelling.)

I was recently directed to a clip of Rick Wakeman playing a solo and I fell in love with it, so I downloaded a bunch, and I believe he is talented, though a bit unconventional with the synth(since he technically plays keyboard, and it is different from piano).

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

eh, I could never really get into true classical. I liked Romantic era, like Liadov, Richard Strauss and Igor Stravinsky. Bach was just so boring and conventional.

^ Talking of Composers, one of the best composers ever (Sir Thomas Beecham), originally came from the town where I live. He died in 1961.
