Default The Magic Numbers

Has anyone heard of them? They are new from England. 2 sets of brother/sister. Think an English Mammas and Pappa's. Very Folky, soft and pretty like Mamma's and Pappa's with a little Simon and Garfunkel with girls.

Yeah, I saw them at a festival in 2005 as well. I only knew a few songs at the time and I really enjoyed their whole set. The harmonies were just delicious.

I think the second album has been a let-down.

I agree. I loved the first album, it was quite different to what I was listening to at that time. Yet the second album has been spun maybe half a dozen times?

I think one problem is that they haven't really progressed. I don't always need that from a band but this second album sounds like a continuation of the first. Actually, it's not even that. It sounds like a collection of songs that didn't make it onto the debut.
