Yeah, about the time of Crisis, I felt he put all his effort into C&C. Dallas green has only gotten better, but not through Aof.

Dalas green is good and some of the old aof is good, I heard theyre new single the other day and personally didnt like it, young cardinals or something like that. I like most all city and color though, its good to listen to before bed or something like that.

I love the new single, I think the instrumentation is top notch, and I think Wade actually sounds awesome while he's singing with George. The whole feel of the song is badass and I like the more punk based direction they're taking. We already have two album worth of the classic, raw Alexisonfire, I don't mind that they want to do something different.

Going to bump this thread, seems appropriate (i know this thread is old, but I didn't know the rules on bumping threads).

I have become a huge fan of City & Colour recently. I have both the Sometimes and the Bring Me Your Love album. Dallas Green has a voice that can change your mood almost instantly. At least thats how it was for me.

Ive listened to Little Hell, and Im glad Dallas took this album in a little different direction. I love his other albums a lot, but they really stayed on the same path...this one definitely took its own route and I think its great as well. The best tracks for me are...

We found eachother in the dark

Natural Disaster

and

O' Sister

I like mostly every song from Dallas Green as he is my favorite artist. I do like the path that his new album took, but with his expanded crew I feel that his songs have lost some of their acoustic mellow touch. Still great though! If I had to state my 5 favorite songs from him they would be:

1 - Comin' Home
2 - Weightless
3 - Body In A Box
4 - What Makes A Man?
5 - O' Sister

I must have to say that every couple of months or so my favorite songs from him change. However, Comin' Home seems to always been on that list as it brings back memories. Great music from one of the most inspirational artists of our generation.

1. Fragile Bird (first time i heard it i could not stop listening to it)
2. Natural Disaster
3. Sleeping Sickness
4. Hello, I'm In Delaware
5. Little Hell

Default Dallas Green influences - Gid Sedgwick

Fellow fans of Dallas Green will probably warm to this up & coming new artist with his haunting vocals & harmonies. Gid Sedgwick is newly discovered from the suburbs of London, UK.

Whilst it appears he generally writes most of his own music & guitar pieces - there's no doubt there's a strong influence from the likes of City & Colour, Simon & Garfunkle etc.

Put listn.to/GSedgwick into your browser & see what you think...
