^ The word from me is that you`re in for a real treat; although there are a couple of weaker tracks, I`ve always considered this to be one of Dylan`s most satisfying albums.

^ Admitedly this track goes on way too long, but elsewhere, on the tracks you mention, and especially on Where are you tonight I have no problem with the whole big-band style production.
This is an album packed with excellent lyrics, and Dylan`s discordant voice cuts through all the slick effects; he sounds like a lone rebel, struggling to be heard above a band that is determined to march on regardless, and this gives the best songs an unusual tension. While the musicians are trying to drown him out, he insists on wailing away about renegade priests, forbidden fruit, infinity and Armageddon like some deranged prophet. A truly exceptional performance !

Default RE: Bob was so bright, I call him my Son. Reply to Dinah for everyone

I named my son after Bob Dylan. But, it was 1991, and that Beverly Hills 90210 had a character named Dylan. I was in the hospital when the nurse came in and asked what we were going to name him. I said Dylan. She said, 'a lot of parents are naming their babies Dylan", because, of that show. And, since she said Dylan and Dillon, I changed the spelling. Dyllon.

I don't like the name Robert Allan Zimmerman, or Bob. So, I always call him Bub.

And Dinah. You didn't mention Highway 61 revisited, or Positively 4th street,, Like a Rolling Stone, Lay Lady Lay, or Tangled up in Blue...etc....etc.....

The bold and Maggie's Farm are my favorites, but, he all confused with religion. How do such brilliant minds get caught up in what is obviously part of what he knew people in this were being held captive, and are deceived into believing. And, he turned to religion. It ruined him.

Just as it ruining this entire planet. How many times do people need to see things, before, they wake up? Bob was a Jew. He changed his name, because, he knew there was a problem. If not, he sold out. He changed religions, but, he kept the same god! But, he did show us Mercy.

Look at what he wrote.

"And god said to Abraham kill me a son, Abe said man you must be puttin me on. god said no, Abe said what, god said you can do what you want Abe, but, the next time you see me comin you better run.

Abe said where do want this killin done, god said out on highway 61"

Classic. And, they trashed him for going 'electric'. Remember that?...you must be old like me.

If Bob Dylan couldn't figure it out, then how is it ever? I figured it out all out. But, no one buys anything I say.

And, when they say 'go to hell'. I say, thank you for the blessing. That's where I am going.

"Cause Mama, that's where the fun is"

I am going to start a thread. With one verse from the Boss.

Blinded by the Light. One word. Calliope.

I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more
No, I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more
Well, I try my best
To be just like I am
But everybody wants you
To be just like them
They sing while you slave and I just get bored

I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more

Take one Word. Maggie. Dictionary. If you cannot take Maggie. And, find anything you want to know, because, it will never work itself out.

Bob said he wasn't going to work on her farm. For her pa, ma, and brother. He did not say he was not going to work for Maggie, just not on her farm.
Take on trip around the globe on the 'slow train coming' with Maggie, if you have the willingness to learn for yourself. It is not easy, it takes a lot of clicks on the "links". And, links do what?

It takes a lot to laugh, it takes a train to cry. Does everybody not know the name Bob Dylan? Even kids today know who Bob Dylan is. And, Elvis, and the Beatles, the Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix ......

But, Highway 61 revisited is considered by most to be Bob's 'magnum opus'. His greatest work. So, if Logos does not 'love', and want to us all together as One. Why can every Word in history lead anywhere you want, and, every
'ology' you wish to make the effort to study?

Names were changed. Stories were created to make gods. Logos created ways to help us though music and prose, and kept all languages alive, through one language. English. So, we can use poetry and lyric and music, and every suffix and prefix to rhyme and reason, and reason with rhyme.

There is no reason and rhyme? Because man see its as no rhyme and reason.

It's in everything and everywhere, but, he doesn't see it anywhere.

It's hard. Really hard. But, once one sees it, it's so simple it blows your mind.

If you want. Just check for rhythmic measure. Consistency of rhyme and measure. Throw out the rule book, just check. See how brilliant he was without even probably being conscious of what he was really delivering, and the message is in everything.

If you do not end up somewhere in every continent, and find every form of life as we know it, and cannot get through the Galaxy, and back, and find every mythology, all scriptures, and a cow, milk, a bunch of birds, an oak, an ash, a lot of horned beasts, .....you're not trying.

And, every Word will lead back to that bible, and

You'll find everything, and then you will probably hope like hell there is a hollow earth.

Genius - "to bring into being, create, produce."

All of the greatest are written for our purpose, not theirs. So, believe it all, or none, because the only big daddy we have is Genus. And, it rhymes with Venus. Hint Hint. So, be thankful it almost rhymes with Jesus.

Or, you can ask me. I am the Way, the Truth, and Life, but, I don't believe a Word I say. And, thanks to 'Styx', I'm OK. So, you are too. And, everybody. We're all OK this Way, yes we're OK. So, never fear, St. Lucy is here, and She's a diamond in my sky.

And, we can thank St. Freddie. He's Mercury. He came up as a Queen, and a Rhapsody.

I know the Name, but I don't speak it. Those who do not speak it, do not know it. Figure that one out

take care. I'm not really arrogant, so, please don't be offended people. I just have nothing left to do, but, I can live on through you. Thanks.

^^I disagree - some of Bob's religious work are great - Property of Jesus, Slow Train, Every Grain of Said

I loved his sole Judaistic song - Man of Peace greatly as well

I have the albums, so, I am not saying he wasn't delivering a message. He just kind of changed him. He was a little less profound, and, he kept changing his mind. He wasn't the same. He's recovered a bit. I like his last album. It's not the classic Bob, but, good.

Do you the Traveling Wilbury's? I love those two compilations.

peace

Is anyone else having trouble understanding this? The way you word things is kind of confusing. Is this a rant about religion?

Yes, The Traveling Wilburys were great.

Yep. And, blastergas, thanks for at least taking the time read my post. I appreciate it, because, I was so successful on religion forums. I got banned for discussing religion. Twice. And, I never, ever condemned anyone to eternal hellfire. I actually know we are all 'saved'. Try to tell a Christian or Muslim that? Or, anyone on a religion forum, and, just like the Romans, the forums call you a heretic! And, banish you. I swear
it they could, they would have impaled me, the iron maiden, and then pulled my intestines out, and stretched them, crucify me upside down, and then burnt me at the stake. So, you wanna talk religion?

This is the typical reaction I always seem to hear back. So, yes it confusing to you. Because, it has nothing to do with 'religion'.

Someday, people might realize that they can't see so well, so, they don't hear. Look inside yourself, or, listen carefully, and break every Word I wrote down to the 'roots', and, then maybe my Words would not sound confusing.

And, they aren't my Words. They have been repeat so many times, you could spend your entire life, and, not finish to count all of the times.

This is a music and prose banter. Just become prose. It's hard work. And, I figured it out, and, see it every song and Word ever written. And, I'm far from a statistical genius. Only, about 50, so there are some of you way smarter than me. I cannot write a lick of music, and, my fingers can only struck and pick, but, I suck.

I just need some from talented people. So, I just to enlighten a few people to realize the Truth, who are much more creative than I am. I just know where it's at. And, I just know, I can't save the planet. Or, anything, even though I pretty am linked to that prophecy books in every name I have.

I'm pretty sure I can't do this. I think prophecy was fulfilled already long ago. It was probably a personal thing. Because, all of you are me, and I am you.

So, it's been a long time, nice to see ya again

No one can save the world, even, I know the world saved me. So, thank you. I am not being facetious.

Listen to this carefully. From St. Mick. He had Sympathy. He took the rap too.

"As Heads IS Tails'. Just call me Lucifer.

Cause I'm in of some 'restraint'

'As Tails IS Heads'. What do you call who? That's is called mcprohesy.

Clue is Siamese Twins. Or, the exact opposite of an oxymoron.

Rather than ever make you believe I am sounding "preachy", I will let take one Word from McLucifer, and, find out how much information you can come up with. See how you can pull Mick's meaning out of "Restraint". I could tell you, but, hell forbid I offer, because, I am not a very 'religious' person. But, I believe Word in all of them. Even, Humpty Dumpty. And, Dr. Seuss. Are you kidding, you want to talk about a prophet

You are way more religious than I am, I'm almost certain. I never 'relied' on somebody else to teach me the Truth. Look it up.

And, I never 'rant'. You ranted in one sentence. And, said a mouth full.

Mick saw things the way most great messengers see. "In through the out door"...Outside looking In....Leftoverture.....

Did Mick not paint everything 'black'....because he could see in the dark.

And had eyes in the back of his head.

And, I just confused you again is my bet.

Just know it's all in the plan......You're okay man. I can show all Ways. If you to see some light, and be a little less confused. But, I don't preach.

I know the Name. But, I never speak it. And, god and lord.....look em up.
They are not names. And, if you just worked very hard, and had some insight, I wouldn't need to write a Word. Count the WWW. And, tell me how many Words there are? Just use a dictionary, find the 'roots', and Mick will show exactly why he wrote that one Word. White is Black, Black is White.

Evening is Morning. So, Morning is Evening.

So, you can allow to make it simple, but, no body wants simplicity. Except the Word and the Name. Logos The Word and the Name are the same. Truth.

So, in order that I do not confuse you, or cause a ruckus. It's morning. And, here's a 'thrice-name'. Look it up research. You'll find things, and, these are my family names. Real ones. And, know why your name is blastingas.

Just three for now. See what you can find. If you look hard enough through etymology and study everything down to the root, as far as far as you can.

Better yet. I'm an Eden. Steven 'Wayne' Eden Benson Ashton. The Wayne applied to what I had to here in NewArk, Ohio. My Mother, just use her for what you need to find out about me. She 'bore' me.

Madeline Lucille Eden Ashton Asher might, but he was dick, a happy one, and kind of only like a step-father. So, I know is connected just like one else I know in my family. It's a story, but, not all that pleasant. Even though my hometown had a Mt. Pleasant, and my Mom is from Pleasantville, Ohio, which a great river, and great a lakes, and many waters.

But, It is hopefully just a story, it don't mean that I am some 'lamb of god', or all the other connections to prophecy. I just had to been seen in one person, not the whole.

Big Super Jesus man. Don't look to the clouds. Unless, you look for aliens, or airplanes, or big brother......He's watching me write, and plans to inject me with black helicopters.... I Love Him like a Son, Father, Sister, and Mother, even though I know He's a ghost. But, I do know, the Word is a tiny bit majorly corrupted in the cannon. That's not religion blaster, it's a books. Hint.

But, if you want to know about you, there is better way than through your names of everyone connect you in familiar way. Everyone, including spousal, in-law. Your full three names. Start with Mommy. Her maiden Name. And, then work back to Daddy. You'll find Way more stuff about you than any psychic. I know you, through through gasblaster and blastingas. Breathe in, breathe out.

Come back and tell me I am being confusing. It's not me brother. You have to be confused, I know exactly what I am writing.

Ask, seek, knock before you speak, because, you spoke falsely of me, and I never would do that to you. You are fine. The planet is doomed. And, since it will survive. Who gets eradicated?'

So, please don't judge or think I am confusing you. I did not judge, or preach. I sold my soul for rock n roll, and, in return I got satisfaction guaranteed. For all of us. But, I am not what those 'names' can provide evidence to. I don't think I am anybody special, trust me.

There is no such beast. It's a book. They're are all books. Wrapped into one set of '66' books. And, feel to measure the beast. Prophecy.

I swear if you check you will somewhere that Prophecy = 666 Computer = 666. And, if you're real names are divisible by six, and cannot bring you down to the two, and then divide it to one, then you didn't do it right. Or you are blessed to be in heaven forever.

I know everything is going to work out, but, some things need discussed through music and lyric. That's the Way it works. So, if you don't believe me, then start praying for a hollow earth. It's not 'theory', It's the story

I would like to upload an mp3 from when Jeff Tweedy and Jay Farrar proved that two heads are better than one. They were far better together. But, I can't focus very well it comes to computer jargon, and complicated math. I know Chemistry and Biology, and just about every ology I can store in this carcass of a hard drive, as they apply to what I know here in heaven, but, . It's about a gig at best

Uncle Tupelo did a great cover of Maggie's Farm. I can't upload it, and I am not quite all that computer literate. I can build one from scratch, and know squat about HTML. I'm illiterate. Math and jargon are not my strong subjects. Especially, anything involve spacial relations and symbols.

I have it anyone want's to hear it. And, Orange Blossom Special. Awesome cover. Uncle Tupelo. What a band. Shame. I like Son Volt better than Wilco.

I would just recommend that you might want to consider dropping the little tiny not so good thoughts, and, intentions when you write things, or say things. Those you all know what I am talking about. And, I am whispering. Not, loudly. Just like you all know they do.

So. I got to figure how to find it in on lastfm. I'm just illiterate.

Could somebody help me in English for dummies how I do this. I can't even play the whole song on lastfm. I'm lost......please help.....this is real confusion folks.

You're just being deceived by something that is elementary, but, so freaking deceptive that Newton couldn't figure it out, and he discovered the laws of motion. Thermodynamics. So, if he couldn't see it don't feel alone. Because, it as simple as Mick Jagger, so Newton probably did not have the good drugs.

Maybe we should ask Confucius. And, Nietzsche a great 'shophist' and was labeled a nihilist, but, not a Phillistine or Nicolatain. Hmmm. Phillipology. He got credit for a writing really neat story about Names. He was a professor for the Name of my Mother and Daughter. Look it up.

Here, in keeping Bob, here is song that mentions his name anyway.

Roman Candle. It's a good song, but, better with a little more electric.

Modern Radio.

Sorry for the length again, but, Words live on. Man rots away. And, someday his bones will be dug up, and studied. I'm not checking to see how scattered and spell, so forgive me, I had a couple shots....

peace

You're a character, that's for sure. How did i speak falsely of you? I just said you were confusing me, partly because your grammar is a little off. But I get it, you're trying to speak some deep philosophical wisdom. What make you so sure that you know the "truth", or whatever it is you're talking about? It takes some confidence to be so sure.

You never relied on someone to show you the truth? Neither did I. The truth is something you have to see for yourself.

Are you trying to say that Mick Jagger is a prophet? Haha. You're something else, Steve.

Looking forward to seeing what you have to say next.
