Default Boban Markovic Orkestar

For a while I've been looking for some good Balkan folk and nothing untill now has really caught my ear as being outstanding. The horn lines are just wonderful and infectious and mezmorizing and simply stellar. I really don't what to say other than my silly little western mind is amazed. They don't have a myspace so I'll up an album later.

I would be interested to hear this. THE LEGENDARY SHACK SHAKERS are another great band from up in Russia, if you are into this sort of thing.

Balkan gypsy music isn't exactly the same as Russian.

No, of course not, I was just suggesting the band are from Russia, not the Balkans and if you like gypsy music you may like this too.
