I am really liking John Martyn right now. I am getting some of his later stuff too. He sounds pretty good live.
I am gonna check out the other recs too. Roy Harper looks good and so does Fairport Convention.

Any album recs for Fairport?

i'm glad you mentioned that, before Sandy Denny joined, ****ing brilliant record. They were a bit crap but basically the English Jefferson Airplane

Agree. Any of their first 5 albums are worth a listen.

No love for Fog On The Tyne by Lindisfarne? I rate this very highly.

Also Steeleye Span are another that are worth checking out.
