Good tune from a classic album:

7/1/78 Arrowhead Stadium KC MO
Jerry Jeff Walker/The Grateful Dead/Jessie Colter & Waylon Jennings/Willie Nelson
Tompall Glaser did a few guest spots as I recall, memory a bit hazy! Meant to post 2 days ago...

Welcome to MB, IdiotWind :wave:

I took your advice, checked out Lala Njava and this is what I found:-

Thanks for the recommendation; it`s a great song! When I get a chance, I`ll listen to some more of her material, including the remaster that you mention.

In the meantime here`s a track you may like. It also also has a great female African vocalist and a few brush-strokes of accordion:-

^ That clip is taken from Abyssinia Infinite`s "Zion Roots" album, which is pretty cool; watch out for the highlight track, Ethiopia.

It must be my lucky day, passing by here when Lisna is around to leave a recommendation! I love that Ethiopian goodness! :) So awesome. *downloads immediately* It's so supernatural!

^ Haha ! Thank you misspoptart, that`s really nice of you! I`m very glad you like Ethiopia. Isn`t the singer something else? How can she pack so much yearning beauty into that one word, "Ethiopia" ?

Oddly enough I was thinking of you the other day because I was listening to the Niyaz album you recommended, what? a year ago? The music is so well put together; it`s become a firm favourite of mine. Many thanks for that recommendation.
( Here`s the thread for anyone interested:- http://www.musicbanter.com/country-f...yaz-niyaz.html )

I could say the same of you, Miss P, - that you are not often in MB these days. I know you`ve got your fancy new office-lunchtime friends to hang out with, but please don`t make yourself a stranger here, ok?

I KNOW. It's really supernatural. She is so special, I'm so glad I've found her, with your help!

Don't worry, I'm a very frequent lurker! :)

I'll give you a recommendation in exchange for that amazing one, btw! I hope you haven't heard it before. :) This comes all the way from the "beautiful islands of New Zealand!" The band is from South Africa, though, incidentally. ^^;

Thanks for the Kia Ora clip, Miss P - a nice track with a really great start (wish the rhythm section had come in a bit later, tbh).

In a completely different style, here`s a rather cheesey home-video affair for a particularly good instrumental written by Newfoundland fiddle player Jerry Holland:-

Hahahahah I love the kid. That is adorable. Where did you come up with this Lisna!! :D So cheesy with the Canadian flag and everything too it's like extremely hilarious. But you're right that the melody is lovely. Awesome!
